Longreach Mineral Exploration (LME) is undertaking the Crossland Platform Airborne Gravity Gradiometry (AGG) survey as part of its efforts to discover a Tier 1 Copper deposit in the East Canning Project area. This initiative is supported by the Western Australian Government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) through its competitive Co-funded Geophysics Program, providing up to 50% of survey costs, capped at $250,000.

The AGG survey utilizes advanced technology to measure gravity field variations, offering a powerful tool for mapping subsurface structures and identifying mineralisation pathways in underexplored regions. By focusing on the structural and geological complexity of the Crossland Platform, LME aims to reveal compelling exploration targets.

This project not only benefits from significant government support but also validates the strategic importance of advancing exploration in challenging, resource-rich terrains. The survey’s results will guide future exploration efforts and could be the key to uncovering Australia’s next major copper deposit. Stay tuned for updates as this pivotal project unfolds.
