The area was selected following along strike IOCG potential from Ernest Henry and Eloise, undercover to the Southeast. Part of EPM29115 has been investigated and drilled by previous explorers who identified uneconomic IOCG mineralisation and alteration. Coincident magnetic, gravity and seismic anomalies within an inverted Soldiers Cap Group basin in EPM29116 with no previous data collected over the area facilitated LME to apply for the ground.
