Amadeus Project
Amadeus Project
Northern Territory
LMEs Amadeus Project, located in Central Australia is a frontier exploration project generated from key elements present for Sedimentary Copper Mineral Systems. The tenure straddles a newly identified terrane boundary fault located in the basement rocks under the Amadeus Basin.
Inversion (reactivation) of this intracratonic structure during the Petermann Orogeny has resulted in exhumation of the lower Neoproterozoic evaporitic and oxidized sediments into positions juxtaposing reduced carbonaceous shales.
LME have leveraged its 3D data integration platform to target key areas under shallow cover where the Bitter Springs Group have been exhumed close to surface.
