Longreach Mineral Exploration (LME) has been awarded two highly competitive Co-funded Geophysics Program (CGP) grants under the WA Government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS). These grants will cover up to 50% of direct costs, capped at $250,000 per project, for groundbreaking geophysical work in the East Canning Project area.
The projects include the Crossland Platform Airborne Gravity Gradiometry (AGG) survey and Ground MT studies over the crustal-scale Lasseter Shear Zone. These initiatives aim to enhance geological understanding by providing critical data on regional structures, fluid pathways, and the area’s structural and geological framework.
This co-funding highlights the importance of advancing exploration in frontier regions, paving the way for future discoveries in underexplored terrains.
